Bio: With a lifelong background and education in several media forms of art, Emily Gibbons brought her creative eye and experience into the art of jewelry in 2006, and has since been meticulously perfecting her craft. As a self taught jewelry designer, she is fortunate to be able to rely on her own imagination and innovative style for her elegant and eye catching collections. Drawing influence from classic Grecian and Egyptian adornment, while implementing the ancient and fine technique of wire wrapping, Emily creates one of a kind pieces that are truly unique. Her style has been described as a blending of classic design with a modern, feminine, and sophisticated sense. Emily’s desire to create comes from the enchanting natural beauty of the precious and semi precious gemstones collected from all around the world, the potential that the wire holds in its raw state, and the mystery and excitement that develops as a piece organically takes its form and shape. With a desire to give women jewelry choices that are beautiful, classic, and transitional, she works single handedly in her studio in Bend, Oregon creating every piece from its first conception to the final product.
